TWO // [ACTION]

[Sebastian is not happy. Two days have passed since the dragon Sindragosa's attack and he is still not totally healed. At first, the numerous bruises on his body have disappeared in a few hours and the deepest cuts in less than one day.

But there is his right leg, that stupid, broken right leg with its bone piercing his flesh. It has been bloody and it is still painful.

He is not used to that, to pain. Usually, he is the one who inflicts it to others, who makes them bleed. He is a killer after all, an assassin. Anyway. Seems the Fairies changed the rules of the game. His powers are still there but weakened, his healing slow. Maybe he should try to turn into his true demonic form, see what happens ? Ahahah. Yeah, right.

At least, he is now back in his croft. That young doctor, Simon (good kid, not saying a thing about the Seal), wanted him to stay at the infirmary a bit longer but Sebastian appreciates his loneliness. And who knows ? Maybe that woman-panther will come to say hi again. He sighs, imagining the Young Master laughing at how miserable his life is right now. Lost in an unknow world with a broken leg and diminished powers.

And no soul to eat, of course. Wonderful !

Oh well, there's nothing he can do about that. For now. Settling more comfortably on his bed, Sebastian takes the communicator. Maybe he could use the time to see how this thing works exactly ? He still must get familiar with the video option, that could be amusing.]

[A rising sense of overwhelming hysteria has urged Lihua outside of her croft this evening. Shivering in the cool summer breeze, she passes through the village aimlessly, desperate for guidance, for answers. Since the fight with Sindragosa, she has kept to herself, careful to avoid Aureln, but without the wings of her Netherdrake mount beneath her, she feels...terribly imprisoned in this place. When she spots Sebastian entering his croft, presumably having left the infirmary, she steels herself. Though not a timid creature, she is almost never the one to initiate anything. But that man...if he required healing, perhaps she should... And so Lihua finds herself standing before his door, head bowed. She knocks once on the wood and then silently waits.]

[He feels the presence at his door before hearing the knock. He's a bit surprised to tell the truth. Everybody is so busy with the attack's aftermath that he never thought someone would take the time to visit him.

Pulling the light blanket over him, he tries to look as presentable as he can. It would probably work better if his clothes weren't in shreds.]

[Closing her eyes, Lihua exhales and drops a hand to the latch, opening the door. Immediately, her attention is drawn to the man seated on the bed and she feels a stab of guilt for the possibility of having interrupted his rest. Smoothing her expression over, she takes a single step inside.]

Good evening. I apologize for the intrusion, but I could not help but notice your injury. I...

[Once, she was a powerful healer. Now...she has forsaken the Light for shadow. Her healing spells are not as strong as they could be. Still, she must offer.]

If you would allow me, I would...I would like to try and help. I have some talent in regards to healing. However... [Here, her ears twitch, drooping somewhat.] Should this be an unwelcome intrusion, I shall leave immediately and let you rest...sir.

[Sebastian looks at the lovely creature as she comes in. She seems insecure, unsure if her presence in his croft is welcomed or not. He puts the communicator away and holds out his hand to her, inviting her to come closer.

He has clearly understood that no one was an enemy in this village. Well, except that dragon.]

Please, take a seat and be welcome...

[A Healer, mm ? ? If his own healing powers and magic aren't able to treat his wound, he's afraid that nothing will. Except time.]

It's not very pretty to see but if you want to look and try something, I have not problem with that. Or with your presence here. [Bright smile. Oh dear, he really likes her ears. Can he touch ?

[She doesn't quite return the smile, but the tension unwinds itself from her body when he proffers a hand. In her world, very few humans would have been so hospitable to a blood elf. Taking his hand, she neatly sits, trying to take up as little space as possible.]

Thank you, [she murmurs. Then, listening to his words, she cocks her head.] Perhaps I am arrogant to make such a claim, but very little disturbs me, sir. Your injury seems to require medical attention, and I will readily give it.

[Her ears flicker.]

[He doesn't know what she is exactly but he does not fear her. That's the advantage of being a demon, fear is something he doesn't know.

He watches as she sits, gracefully, not letting go of his hand. In his world, this situation would be scandalous.]

Do not worry, I can be quite arrogant myself if I want to. [He removes the blanket from his leg, letting her see the bloody bandages wrapped around the splint.] The Infirmary people did their best with it but it's still painful.

[Oh, those ears.]

[Though Sebastian might not appreciate the comparison, being a cat lover, Lihua is very much like an obedient, mindless dog. Little more than a puppet, she will take whatever direction she receives and cling to it. In this case, a hand was proffered to her and not yet withdrawn; she will continue to hold it until he makes it clear he wishes her to release it. She had come from a prestigious noble family, but while she remains polite, all sense of propriety had been eradicated in the chaos of Outland.

Nodding in acknowledgement, she carefully examines the splint before glancing up at him.]

If it is not…distasteful to you…my magic can soothe that pain. The splint would need to be removed first, however, sir.

[He doesn't like dogs, finding them pathetic as they always obey their masters, looking for their affection. This is quite ironic, in fact, as it is exactly what he does with his own Masters.There's a difference though. He's always the winning one in the end.

Sebastian gently takes back his hand and nods. Her magic intrigues him.]

Please, do whatever you think is necessary. And stop to call me 'sir'. I'm really not used to that.

[She hesitates, before asking:]

If not sir, is there another way in which you would preferred to be addressed?

[With knowing fingers, she undoes the split as gently as she can, careful not to jar his injury. Removing the bandages, of course, opens up the helpful clots, and she uses the excess cloth to avoid blood staining his already ruined clothes. Eyes sliding shut in concentration, she twists her hands over each other as she casts a spell of greater healing on it.]

[That could be a good question. He had many names through the last centuries. But there's one he has used longer than the others.]

'Sebastian' will do it. Sebastian Michaelis. Nice to meet you... ?

[He watches her. Her gentle but precise movements. He hisses a bit when she touches his leg but the pain lasts just an instant before he feels warmth invading him and all his muscles relax. This magic is very different than his.]

Ah, Lihua. My name is Lihua...Lightbinder. A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Sebastian Michaelis.

[Her long, feathery eyebrows furrow as she concentrates on knitting deep tissue back together, the spell increasing in energy.]

Is this making a difference? Please let me know if it is not helping.

[He likes the sound of the name. Lihua. But for now, he's more curious about what she does to his leg. He doesn't know what her level of power is in her world but it seems very high here in Demeleier.

It must be very high as it works on him.]

It's not as painful as before.

[Unfortunately, as she is, Lihua cannot reach the peak of her power. Perspiration beads at her temple and, with a quiet noise, she ends the spell, having done as much as she can for now.]

I apologize. I am weaker than I expected.

[Abruptly, she stands.]

I...I will leave you to rest, Sebastian. I truly hope that my magic was able to ease the pain somewhat.

[On the communicator, also using the video option but not really doing much is a young man with his back to the camera. All that can be seen of him is the back of his head, purple hair pulled into a loose tail]

[Sebastian stares at the strange image. Apparently, someone else also seems to have difficulties with the video option. He gives a little knock on the screen.]

Hmn? [The young man turns around and looks at the camera. He only has one visible eye, the other, supposedly damaged in hidden under a gash of red ribbon.] Hey. What's up?

[That hidden eye... How does this boy do to look so much like his Young Master ? Well, except for the hair and that way to talk to an elder.]

Trying to find out how that communicator thing works exactly. And yourself ?

[The boy shrugs] Nothing. [He pauses, thinking he might need to justify that since he's addressing a stranger and he doesn't want to be judged as lazy] Sometimes you gotta do nothing before you can do anything, you know?
